VYZYOSchool (“we”, “our”, “the Service”) provides digital school management services, including mobile applications (Parent App, Teacher App) and the school administration platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect and process personal information within the VYZYOSchool ecosystem.
By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Data Ownership
All data belongs entirely to the school that uses VYZYOSchool.
The school is the Data Controller (owner of the data).
VYZYOSchool is the Data Processor (technical operator).
We do not use, sell, exploit, or reuse any personal data for our own purposes.
All data is used exclusively within the school environment.
Each school uses VYZYOSchool to manage its students, parents, teachers and administrative workflow.
We only provide hosting, security, backups and maintenance of the dedicated server.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on your role (Parent, Teacher, Student, Administrator), we may collect the following information:

- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Role (parent / teacher / administrator)
- Associated school
- Login credentials (encrypted)
✅ 2.2 Student Information
Used exclusively by the school:
- Full name
- Class / grade
- Attendance
- Courses / homework
- Evaluations & grades
- Exams and results
- Timetable
- Events and activities
- Messages from the school
✅ 2.3 Device & Technical Data
Collected automatically for performance and troubleshooting:
- Device model
- Operating system
- IP address
- App version
- Device identifiers
- Crash logs
- Log data during errors
✅ 2.4 Notification Data
- FCM push token
- Notification delivery status
- Message metadata (not content)
We do not access private message content.
3. How We Use Your Data
Personal data is used exclusively for:
✅ Providing access to the school platform
✅ Allowing teachers to manage classes and evaluations
✅ Allowing parents to follow their children
✅ Sending school notifications (absence, notes, homework, events, exams)
✅ Generating attendance reports and grade bulletins

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, marketing, or analytics not related to the school’s activity.

Each school uses the platform for :

VYZYOSchool never intervenes in the educational or administrative decisions of the school.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent or commercialize personal data.
Data is shared only as follows:

✅ Teachers – only the data of their own classes
✅ Parents – only the data of their own children
✅ Technical services (Google Play Services, Firebase Cloud Messaging) – only to enable features like notifications or crash detection
No data is shared with third parties for commercial, marketing or profiling purposes.
6. Children’s Privacy
Because our service is used in schools, we process student data strictly under the authorization of the school.
✅ We do not collect data directly from children
✅ Parents and schools fully control student data
✅ No student account is created without school approval
✅ If a parent requests deletion, we process it with the school
✅ We comply with Google Play Families Policy
If we discover any unauthorized child data, we delete it immediately.
7. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on secure servers located in Tunisia, inside a certified datacenter:

We apply:
- HTTPS encryption
- Strong authentication
- Daily backups
- Dedicated servers per school
- Access control and audit logs
- Security monitoring
VYZYOSchool does not mix the data of different schools.
Each school has its own isolated server and database.
8. Permissions Used by the Mobile App
The mobile applications may request:
✅ Internet – to access the platform
✅ Notifications (FCM) – for school alerts
✅ Camera – for QR code scanning (optional)
✅ Storage – to download documents (optional)
No permission is activated without user consent.
9. User Rights
Depending on your role and the school’s policy, you have the right to:
✅ Access your personal data
✅ Update your information
✅ Request correction of incorrect information
✅ Disable notifications
✅ Request deletion (via the school)
✅ Request data export (via the school)

10. Data Retention
Data is retained as long as the school uses VYZYOSchool.
When a school terminates its contract:
✅ All data is deleted within 30 days
✅ Backups are securely removed
✅ No copy is kept by VYZYOSchool
Unless a longer retention is required by law.
11. Third-Party Services
The platform may use:
- Google Play Services
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Crashlytics (for errors)
These services may collect technical identifiers to ensure proper functioning.
No personal academic data is shared with them.
