At the heart of VSchool, the Multichannel communications is a key feature which allows all users on the platform to communication through a Private Instant Messaging, SMS and Email.
Integrated Instant Messaging
The Integrated IM system allows the school, teachers, parents and students to communicate instantly about any topic related to the school activity, the student or any information requiring to be exchanged. It includes both One-to-One messaging as well as Group messaging. The School manager can send an instant message to all parents of a class about a show in the school, the teacher can inform a parent about some work to be completed by his/her child, the parent can send a request to a teacher for a meeting… The possibilities are infinite.
SMS Communications
The power of SMS is known for decades. All SMS are read within less than a minute after they are received. This makes a strong communication channel for alerts. Our SMS system allows the school to send customized SMS which appear with the School’s name as the sender. This gives a better confidence and trust for parents. Besides, the system allows sending grouped SMS to multiple users with a customized content for each one. It can be used for example to notify each parent about their child’s grade or exam result, about the due amount for an invoice, etc. And this is done by a simple click for the whole parents database.
Email Communications
Using Emails is convenient when the parents and/or student email is registered in the platform. The messages about certain issues, events can be sent through email, with the School’s email SMTP account.
